A well known Nigerian singer, David Adeleke popularly known as Davido has thrown a subtle shade at one of his cousin, Dele Adeleke regarding his ambition to participate in Osun governorship.

While sharing on his official Twitter handle, David Adeleke threw shade at his cousin, Dele Adeleke, saying he finished University with a 2:1, but his cousin, Dele Adeleke, who struggled to even get a 2:2 in the University is now forming intellectual, adding that his cousin has not succeeded in building one single thing in his life on his own.

Further speaking, David Adeleke warned Osun citizens should beware of fake leadership.

It could be recalled that Dele Adeleke, an aspirant under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), while speaking with the press revealed why he is challenging his uncle, Ademola Adeleke, for the party's ticket ahead of the Osun 2022 governorship election.

According to him, he made it known that he is more competent than his uncle, Ademola Adeleke, who was the governorship candidate for PDP in 2018, adding that being Senator Adeleke's nephew should not hamper his aspiration to serve the people of the state.

However, a lot of Nigerians are yet to understand what is really going on between David Adeleke and his cousin, Dele Adeleke, and why he made such statement.
