Stakers Championship, an initiative of Goal- Tile International held their Press Conference on Tuesday January 11, 2022 in Lagos.

In attendance were popular BBN stars Roseline Afije, popularly known as Liquorose and Uti Nwachuckwu, who were both announced as hosts of Stakers Championship. Also present were Tracy Chapel (Chief Suo), pidgin sports commentator and analyst who will be one of the judges on the show and Nigerian-Canadian Titi Kuti, popularly known as Ade Tiger. Ade Tiger will be the coach for the Stakers Championship contestants during the show.

Stakers Championship was introduced to empower and reward football fans and sports enthusiasts; both viewers and contestants, across the globe.

The show will feature 32 contestants battling it out for N40 Million naira worth of prizes including a car and free ticket to watch 2022 Super Cup finals in Helsinki, Finland. The viewers will not only enjoy the show content but they also stand a chance to benefit from various opportunities the show provides to enrich the viewers.

Each contestant will pitch against each other in a high-end contest analyzing football matches and other sports whilst making predictions on real-life games to educate and entertain viewers who are ready to stake on the predicted games and win.

According to Mr. Timothy Adegunle, Director Content & Strategy Goal-Tile International “each contestant stays or leaves the competition based on the accuracy of their predictions, votes from fans, and other criteria”. The Stakers Champion will emerge after nine weeks of exciting games, inspiring stories and thrilling entertainment.

A computer-generated code will serve as the password for each applicant after payment confirmation. Registration begins from January 12, 2022 and lasts until February 22, 2022.
