English singer and songwriter, Adele has banned unvaccinated fans from attending her upcoming concerts.

The mother of one who sent the globe into a frenzy when she announced the 24-date run at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Sin City last month, has added a "hard rule" which might stop many from attending the concert which begins on January 21.

A statement on Ticketmaster read;

“The Event Organiser is requiring all attendees of this event to have been fully vaccinated (14 days past final vaccination shot ) AND to have received a negative COVID-19 test within 48-hours of the event. Both proof of vaccination AND proof of negative test within 48-hours of the event is required to enter the event.”

The site further stated that at-home kits do not qualify as adequate. Adele last month revealed that she was put off doing a major world tour in 2022 because of COVID-19.

She said;

“It’s too unpredictable, with all the rules and stuff. I don’t want anyone coming to my show scared. And I don’t want to get Covid, either."

After her long-awaited album 30 was released, Adele admitted she struggled with drinking during the pandemic.

She said;

“Everyone had to face a lot of their demons because they had so much time on their hands with nothing to distract them. They had to face themselves in isolation. Whereas I did that the year before.

“It got earlier and earlier, the drinking. My first emergency run at the grocery store was for Whispering Angel [rosé] and ketchup. Whispering Angel turned me into a barking dog. It did not make me whisper.”
