Pope Francis has celebrated mass in front of tens of thousands of Colombians, urging the country to put behind the recently ended conflict between the government and the former rebel group FARC.

The Vatican played a decisive role in last year's talks between the two sides that led to a peace deal.

The pope called for an end to the ingrained inequality that sparked the 50-year long civil war.
