Zainab Balogun, Popular Nollywood actress, took to her Instagram page to throw shade at her colleague, Ruth Kadiri who called out the organizers of the Eko star film and Tv awards for not giving due recognition to her.

Earlier on, Ruth Kadiri took to her Instagram to call out the organizers of the awards as she categorically stated that she was ignored despite her value and hard work because she doesn’t belong to any clique.



In her words,

“I am a filmmaker. I am a woman. I am a hard-working woman. I have faced the struggles every woman/filmmaker has faced. Did my name at any point pop up yes, but because I do not belong to a click? Yet again, I have been overlooked will not be pressured. I will keep working hard. @lagosstategovt @moabudu @ijayonah @nifsummit thanks for overlooking me and congrats to everyone who got recognized.”

Actress Zainab taking to her Instagram page also wrote;

“Yesterday was emotional. I don’t know how we all didn’t burst into tears I think it’s fair to say we need a monthly summit. God knows I LOVE acting. Absolutely love it with every bone in my body yet being a Nigerian female creative can be SO tiring. I have stories for days!!!! It’s so easy to feel overlooked when you go against the grain. Yesterday I was honored along with a room full of talented women who are simply doing their best and moving the needle effortlessly.
