President Muhammadu Buhari described the attack on the Imo state correctional facility as an act of terrorism. Additionally, the president urged Nigerians to assist the Nation's security agencies to ensure that the culprits return to the correctional facility. As a result of the high level of insecurity in Nigeria, the president urged members of the public to be vigilant so as to protect themselves from terrorist attacks. He also gave the assurance that the Federal Government will do it's best to terminate terrorism and anarchy.
