Harvey Weinstein is reportedly gravely ill with101-degree temperature and has been "put in prison isolation" over fear he may have contracted coronavirus.

Law enforcement officials told TMZ that the disgraced Hollywood mogul is suspected to have Covid-19 and is "doing poorly" with various health issues.

The publication said Weinstein was tested for Covid on Tuesday morning November 17, and doctors are waiting for his Covid test results.

Weinstein, who is serving a 23-year prison sentence for rape in New York, is expected to be taken to the prison hospital if he tests positive for coronavirus.

Harvey's camp told TMZ: "It should come as no surprise that Mr. Weinstein has numerous maladies and conditions including a heart condition, high blood pressure and spinal stenosis. We are working with the NYSDOCCS and the excellent team at Wende CF to ensure Mr. Weinstein receives the proper medical attention he needs."

A spokesman for the New York State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision said they could not comment on individual cases but anyone displaying Covid-19 symptoms is immediately isolated and tested.
