Wonder they said, shall never end. This was a case in Kogi State recently. If you have been keeping records of your surprises in the recent times, this is certainly going to be one of them.

A hunter have killed a Python that swallowed an Antelope in the state. The hunter who went to farm with his dog in the State, started hearing strange sounds at some points in the bush. According to him, his dog was almost running away from him at a point. He wanted to run away as well, but that was the first thought that came to his mind because he did not run at the end. As a courageous man/hunter, he has to face the challenge. He summoned courage and went ahead towards the area where the strange noise was coming from. On reaching there, he saw what he has never seen in his entire life.

A Python was trying to swallow an Antelope. He waited patiently for the Snake to finish his job before he starts his own. After some times, the Python succeeded in it's action, leaving the hunter to his own fate. The hunter as well wasted no chance as he succeeded in killing the Python.

From all indications, the hunter have had a successful outing. It is the case of using one stone to kill two birds.

The feelings in the community towards the strange event is another thing to think of. While many were celebrating with the hunter on his achievement, others attributed the scenario to handiwork of the gods. Many were saying that the whole thing was as a result of the present of deities in the forest where the event took place.

No matter what it is. The Python has been killed. What will happen thereafter is what is yet to be known.
