In this part 1, I shall introduce to you what copywriting is all about. In subsequent parts, I will teach you how to write headlines and contents that sell.
WHAT IS COPYWRITING? Copy writing is the act of writing text for the purpose of advertising or other forms of marketing. The product called 'COPY' is written content that aims to increase brand awareness and ultimately persuade a person or group to take an action. These target actions may include Buy a product Subscribe to an email list Download a report or a guide Install an app Enter a sweepstake Take a survey Call a number Subscribe to a service Visit a website/page Watch a video Play an online game etc I shall continue from here in the next post.
