That popular Nigerian DJ, Florence Otedola, popularly known as DJ Cuppy has a philanthropic side has never been in doubt. So it came as no surprise when she announced that her foundation, The Cuppy Foundation will be carrying out charity events this period. In a tweet, Cuppy announced that her foundation has allocated the sum of fifty million naira towards the Save The Children organisation. She wrote; “The #CuppyFoundation has allocated N50,000,000 towards the @SaveChildrenNG Covid-19 response! They have been provided with and received the funds. Save the Children Nigeria is a non-for-profit organisation. Let’s protect our Nigerian children during this tough time!” ‘Save the Children’ is an organisation that promotes the right of the Nigerian child to education, health, protection, equal opportunities and fair treatment with dignity and respect.Recall that late last year, DJ Cuppy’s father, business mogul, Femi Otedola, donated N5bn to the Cuppy Foundation.
