America’s first black lady, Michelle Obama has talked about her life before, during and after her time at the white house as well as the barriers which came with the occupation.

Although she made it look simple, the very first Lady disclosed she needed to shatter the glass ceiling to be able to reach everything she has. The WFCO president Lauren Casteel requested Mrs Obama that of those things she experienced harms many and she explained:

"The shards that cut me the deepest were the ones that intended to cut. Knowing that after eight years of working really hard for this country, there are still people who won’t see me for what I am because of my skin color."

She recovered racist attacks she suffered, including being known as an ape and disparaging references left about her physique. Michelle reported that although she is attempts to live her motto, "when they go low, I go high she does not feign such dreadful attacks do not hurt her, since it allows those performing the viciousness off the hook.

When asked about any plans to run for office later on, the former First Lady said, public support will forever be a part of her own life.
