Pop Smoke was scheduled to visit Amber Rose at her home on the day he was tragically murdered. The “Welcome To The Party” rapper was supposed to go to Rose’s house that she shares with her music executive boo Alexander “AE” Edwards on Wednesday, February 19, but never made it there because he was gunned down in his Hollywood Hills rental hours before. As The Blast reported, cops raced to the multi-million home, owned by “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Teddi Jo Mellencamp around 4:30 AM and found Pop Smoke suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to the hospital where he later died.

The music industry has expressed their sorrows over losing the 20-year-old with rappers like Nicki Minaj and 50 Cent paying tribute, but Amber Rose detailed her heartbreak by saying she was supposed to see Pop Smoke later today. In a tearful Instagram tribute , Muva told fans, “Everyone in our house is crying for you right now. You were supposed to come over here today.” She also revealed she had just
paid homage to the fallen rapper days ago by recreating his “Meet The Woo” album cover. “He was so funny, talented and humble af! He didn’t deserve this,” Amber Rose continued. “He was only 20 years old WE LOVE YOU POP.”

Her baby daddy, Alexander “AE” Edwards, also addressed his death on social media. “U were more than a star. Ur heart was gold. U brought smiles to everybody,” he began. “The most powerful thing 1 can do, is make some1 smile. To impact some1 positively. To make them feel good about who they are. That was You.” Revealing that he usually doesn’t post about someone after they die, “AE” said Pop Smoke’s passing is an exception. “This weak ass fuckin post does nothing. But, I want 2 let as many people as I can know u embodied a true soul, & characteristics a father would want to see in his son. Ur spirit deserves for the world 2 know,” he wrote while revealing they were just in the studio together days ago.
