Oluwabukola Awoyemi, popularly called Arugba is a year older today. The pretty mother of twins shared a long write-up on her official Instagram page to thank God for the privilege to see another day. One major highlight of the write-up was that she stressed that she wished that her mother was alive on a day like this.

She wrote,
“HALLELUJAH HALLELUYAH it’s my day. To the one who gave me the grace to add another year to my years I say THANK YOU LORD. I dedicate today to the one; mamami who bore me on this date; December 19. This is my very first birthday without you iyami, I never wanted a birthday wish this year, in fact, didn’t want a photo shoot, I said; not without my sweet mum, but on a second thought I know all you wanted was and is my happiness. I know, though u aren’t here physically u are watching me spiritually, I know u would be on the lookout for my beautiful pictures just like u were last year and other past years, I remember your funny, motherly and beautiful compliments on my birthday photo shoot last year, I remember this was your favourite because I represented a Yoruba bride. I remember, mama mi Margareth Adunola Awoyemi I eventually made a late decision to make a birthday shoot today, because I sensed u were waiting to compliment… but before then, I use this as a remembrance and sweet memories of those times u were with me.
