Happy Intl Human Rights day, my fellow compatriots and advocates!

As noted by Anthonio Guterres (UN Sec. Gen.) the world celebrates today, the role of young people in bringing human rights to life. Globally, young people are marching, organising and speaking out for the right to healthy environment, for the equal rights of women and girls, to participate in decision making and to express their opinions fully.

They are marching to their right for a future of peace, justice and equal opportunities. Every person is entitled to all rights: civil, political, economic, social and cultural regardless of where they live, regardless of race, ethnicity, religion, social origin, gender, sexual orientation, political or other opinion, disability or income or any other status.

We of Youth for Human Rights Intl Ebonyi State Chapter are proudly joining people all around the world, particularly the youth, to stand up for Human Rights. Join us, as we march along with members of National Human Rights Commissions Ebonyi State and other human rights based CSOs in Ebonyi State, to mark the 2019 Human Rights DayHR
