We have obtained a report revealing that another tragedy occurred after a tanker laden with fuel, fell at Amagba Phase 2, Onitsha.

We understands that the incident that occurred on Friday morning, caused another explosion in the area as the residents run to embrace safety.

The explosion comes in about 24 -hours after the fire outbreak in Upper Iweka Road and Ochanja market, Onitsha which saw the lost of many lives and destruction of properties worth millions of Naira.

While well-meaning Nigerians express sadness ove the Ochanja tanker explosion, President Muhammadu Buhari had also joined other Nigerians in expressing sadness over the deaths from the incident.

Buhari in his reaction, sympathized with the families of victims that lost their lives in the inferno.

In his words; “I am profoundly touched by the sight of the charred remains of an innocent mother and her child who are victims of this tragedy,”

Sinilarly, host of the Big Brother Naija (BBNaija), Ebuka Obi-Uchendu in his reaction to the tanker explosion, took to his twitter handle where he noted that “we are on our own in this country.”

However, as at the time of this report, no record of casuality or injury fro the Amagba Phase 2 explosion has been received.
