Uti Nwachukwu has claimed he shared his Big Brother Africa prize money with his fellow contestants.

The Nigerian media personality, who won the Big Brother Africa season 5, claimed he gave $5k each to the top 5 housemates during his season.

It all began after he suggested the prize money for Big Brother Naija season 4 should be shared among the remaining housemates. A Twitter user told him his own prize money should have been shared when he won and Uti responded.

He wrote:
"I actually shared my prize money. I gave 5k dollars each to 3 of the top5 housemates of my season. Ask them. #Bbnaija"
