President Buhari and the Acting Head Civil of Service of the Federation, Mrs Folashade Yemi-Esan, met at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, on Friday.

It was her first visit to the State House after her naming as the Ag. HoS by Buhari on Wednesday.

Her appointment followed the President’s directive that her predecessor, Mrs Winifred Oyo-Ita, should proceed on indefinite leave, pending the outcome of the investigation into corruption allegations against her.

There was no official statement on the agenda of the meeting.

However, Saturday PUNCH gathered that such a meeting would not discuss more than the Ag. HoS getting to meet the President and taking instructions on expectations.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission is currently investigating alleged financial infractions in excess of N3bn, against Oyo-Ita.

Last month, there were speculation that she turned in a resignation letter.

However, both Oyo-Ita and the Presidency later denied knowledge of the existence of the resignation letter.
