Nigerians have in their numbers trooped to social media over the viral image of food served to Nigerian children in their schools.
Many have come to criticize President Muhammadu Buhari‘s School feeding program as a failed scheme.
One of many is a human right lawyer and social media influencer Abdul Mahmud. He tweeted:
“Detained at Kirikiri Prison, DMI and SSS cells, none had meals as bad as this one. This is what they feed the kids of the poor. Can Mrs Uwais’ kids eat this? School Feeding Programme partly funded by #MacArthur Foundation #Scam”
Nigerians are worried about the quality of meal acclaimed to be a leading project of the Buhari led administration.
The image has since gone viral and many are calling out the Vice President, Prof Yemi Osinbajo who has been seen on photo ops while appraising the programme and attested to the efficient running and quality of food served at various schools.

Elections are over, Trader Moni is no more, even the school feeding program, nothing to write home about. What’s this nonsense??

This is ridiculous because The school feeding program doesn’t have “swallow” on the food timetable, hence, this is anything but the @NHGSFP, perhaps do your research next time. Loool. https://twitter.com/abdulmahmud01/status/1148533336287191040 …
