Birthdays come once in a year and an individual also turns 18 only once in a lifetime. Top actor, Richard ‘RMD’ Mofe-Damijo’s son recently reached adulthood as he clocked 18.

Tega’s proud father took to his Instagram page to share a cute photo of the celebrant as he also penned down valuable words of advice.

In a lengthy text shared on his page, RMD explained to his son that turning 18 is a big deal as it offers one the liberty to be his own man. However, adulthood comes with many responsibilities and changes and his father made sure to give him good advice to help him along the way.

Excerpts from RMD’s advice to his son reads: “I pray for you to be a good man, even when people are not watching, that is integrity.

I pray that you do deeds that will help others, even if no one knows you did them, that is kindness.

I pray you are quick to share not only what you have, but what you know, that is generosity.

I pray that you treat everyone as equal, irrespective of their social status, that is respect.

I pray that you remember that every woman is to be treated like they are precious, because they all are, that is being a man."

Just recently, Legit.ng reported that RMD took to social media to thank fans after they showed love to him on his 58th birthday.

RMD turned 58 on Saturday, July 6, 2019. While appreciating God for keeping alive thus far, the ageless actor also took the time to reflect on his years on earth and as a Nigerian.

RMD said that after all these years, if he is afraid to speak the truth irrespective of whose ox is gored, then he has failed. He noted that for this reason and going by recent events in the country, he has never been prouder of being Nigerian than he is now because Nigerians have given him the best birthday week ever.
