Celine Dion’s status as a musical icon often ensures her every move is bound to make headlines.

But recently, the star’s new look has become a talking point during increasingly-frequent outings after ending her 16-year Vegas residency last month.

The 51-year-old’s eldest son Rene-Charles, 18, is even said to be ‘worried sick’ about his mother and fears he’s watching her ‘waste away’.

“Rene’s taken his role of man of the house very seriously since his dad died and he’s convinced being with [Celine] around the clock is the only way to maintain some kind of control,” a source told NW.

“He’s so worried about her health and wellbeing.”

Just days earlier, Celine turned heads at Paris Fashion Week with a series of looks which left fans to lodge concern for the “scarily thin” singer.

Vogue Australia shared a photo of Celine during the festivities, but while it’s received almost 3,000 likes, many fans have shared their fears for the singer.

“She looks way too thin,” was one concerned comment.

“Fab voice and fashionista, but my God she looks scarily thin,” another wrote.

“I’ve seen her in a few posts and she is seriously underweight. Not a good look,” another person commented.



“Very underweight... Celine has been always a thin build, but she is too thin. Hope all is ok,” one person agreed.

Others however, have defended the icon, and called out Vogue for posting the ‘unflattering’ photo in the first place.

“Not nice Vogue Australia, you could post a nicer picture,” was one response.

“Bad pic of a Queen! Vogue don’t you feel something is wrong? It's not a friendly pic,” another agreed.
