Jermaine Lamarr Cole is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, and record producer. Born on a military base in Germany but raised in Fayetteville, North Carolina, Cole initially gained recognition as a rapper following the release of his debut mixtape, The Come Up, in early 2007.

The U.S. rapper and his wife Melissa Heholt are expecting their second child. The 34-year-old legendary rapper who has always been private about his family revealed the news in his Dreamville’s compilation project Revenge Of The Dreamers III on Friday.

On the closing track “Sacrifices” which features

Earthgang, Smino & Saba , the Dreamville boss raps “I had nowhere to go, she gave me a place to stay/She gave me her heart to hold/I still got that sh!t to this day,” he spits. “She ridin’ with me on the road/She ridin’ with me in the A/Huggin’ the block, huggin’ the block, okay.

“She gave me the gift of my son, and plus we got one on the way/She gave me a family to love, for that, I can never repay, I’m crying while writing these words/The tears, they feel good on my face.”

Cole and Melissa who married in 2015 already have a son together. Melissa is an event planner and also the Executive Director of J. Cole’s Dreamville Foundation.
