A husband is one who cares for his wife at all times and occasions; he cares about her in the morning, he cares if she had a good sleep, he checks whether she has had her lunch, he ensures she is wearing warm clothes out in the cold, he asks if something is bothering her, he helps her worship her Lord, he cares about her Akhirah and thus helps her avoid sins, and so on and so forth.

He’s not one of those who only remember their wives on their birthdays and anniversaries of their marriage! If you have a husband who cares for you at all times, then don’t become moody if he forgets to get you a gift on your anniversary or take you out for dinner. Marriage is not about two days; it’s about each and every moment.

If your husband treats you well in your day-to-day life, but forgets your marriage anniversary or your birth date, there is no need to become upset. Remembering these days is not a sign of him loving you and caring for you; treating you well on all occasions is!
