I am going to be taking you through the scriptural teaching about the dead, where are they right now? I will also be teaching about other mis-interpreted scriptures that have been confused for the scriptures that explain the state of the dead.

For century upon century, the church has been deceived by the leaders with the doctrine of going to Heaven immediately a believer dies. Today, you are going to know the scriptural truths that have been ignored by the church about the place of the dead!

I want you to know that the Bible did not promise the believers of going to heaven the moment they die. It is unscriptural teaching. You can not find such teaching from Jesus or the Apostles in the scriptures. No body goes to heaven immediately after death.

I want to state again that nobody goes to heaven or hellfire the moment they die. It may be discouraging for you to know that your loved ones that died some time ago are neither in heaven or hellfire. They are not even in Abraham’s bosom. There is no such thing as Abraham’s bosom in h3ll or heaven. It is simply the fragment of church leaders’ unscriptural imaginations

Don’t get angry if these truths are already causing devastating effecting to your long time legalistic belief. I am going to take you through the scriptures from Genesis to Revelation and show you more than one hundred Bible verses that prove to us that the dead are neither in heaven or hellfire!

Before I begin this teaching, I want you to be aware of the many scriptural truths that I am going to unveiled to you in the course of this serial teachings. I also want you to get your Bible, a pen and note book to take down points. Write down any questions that will come to your mind as you listen to these teachings. • When Jesus said “Today you will be with me in paradise”, He was not talking about heaven.
• Jesus is not coming with the spirits of the saints
• Death is equated to sleeping
• All the great men of God that have died are simply sleeping in the grave include Kenneth E. Hagin, Arch Bishop Benson Idahosa, and others
• Man is not a spirit

All these are and many other truths, I am going to be showing directly from the scriptures. I am going to show you direct answers from the scriptures, scriptures that will not need any private interpretations. I want you to act like the Christians in BOREA who after the Apostles have finished teaching in the synagogue they would go home and search the scriptures to see if what the Apostles taught in the synagogue was so. And the scripture called them “noble Christians” by the singular act of scriptural search. Would you want to be called a noble a Christian? You have to cultivate the habit of always going back home to search the scriptures to see if what your pastors, elders, teachers, evangelist, prophets and Apostles are teaching in the church are true.

Don’t always dump your Bible after closing from church on Sunday. You will remain in deception if you never have time to study the Bible for yourself.

The scripture is very clear about the state of the dead. In several pages, chapters, verses and books of the scriptures, you will find God’s mind about the dead from the Old Testament to the New Testament. These scriptures are not of any private interpretation. They are clear and straight to the very core on God’s mind concerning the dead, whether dead believers who are asleep in Christ or dead unbelievers who are sleeping to be awaken to face the second death.

In other for you to understand these scriptures and scriptural teachings, you have to avoid mental noise by first unlearning what you have already learnt about the dead.

Now go and get a Bible (New King James Version) or any other version can do. Get a note book or dairy and a pen. Listen with your heart and not with your head. After listening, take time out to be alone with God in prayer and fasting, mediate on the scripture you will receive and let the Holy Spirit of God minister to your spirit.
