"Laide Bakare bagged a degree in History and Strategic Studies from the University of Lagos, Akoka, Lagos State, Nigeria. She also holds a Diploma in Theatre Arts from the Univeristy of Ibadan, Ibadan, Oyoo State.

Her debut in the movie industry was through her father who owns a hotel where movie actors lodge. From there, she go her acting career started in earnest."
