Kidnapper Who Took Tramadol In Victim's House Before Failed Operation Dies

The suspected kidnapper, who was apprehended during a failed kidnap operation, has been confirmed dead. The Police spokesperson of the Ondo State Police Command, Femi Joseph who unconcealed this to newsmen on Tuesday, revealed that the suspect died because of complications from high dose of Tramadol he took before the bungled operation despite efforts created to revive him.

We reported a week ago how the suspect was apprehended following a failed kidnap attempt on a pharmacist after the suspect was said to have overdosed on Tramadol.

He had been unconscious since his arrest over the August 5 kidnap attempt at a patent medicine store after two of his gang members had escaped.

According to the PPRO, the suspect died at the Owo General Hospital where medical personnel had battled to revive him.

“The suspect died nine days after we arrested him; we thought he would be revived so that he could help us in our investigation,” Joseph said.
