Medical Doctor Suspended For Assaulting A Nurse On Duty

In accordance with the report gathered, one Dr. Nuwar Alahaji Modu in the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital has been suspended for assaulting and slapping a nurse on duty.

The incident was said to have occurred yesterday at the male medical ward of the hospital. The doctor was instructed to hand over all the hospital items in his possession to the head of department and await further instructions.
