14-Year-Old School Girl Mercilessly Flogged In Ilorin Over School Fees (Photos)

Sheikh Abdulkadir Secondary school's female student in Ilorin, Kwara state, Suliat Abdulganiyu has been hospitalized after she was brutally flogged in February, 2018 for not paying the school fees due for that term.

According to Haishat Yetunde, as a consequence of the punishment and flogging, the teenage girl saw her tibia shift from her fibula, before getting infected and resulting to Osteomyelitis (a form of bone infection). Her femur is cracked and she has an increasing film of infection around the bone.

She has been placed on admission at Ela Memorial hospital, Basin Ilorin and is being prepared for surgery (Sequestrectomy).

The family is seeking for a possible legal advice on how to ensure that Suliat gets justice for this inhuman treatment!
