Nollywood actress, Iheme Nancy her birthday today, 12th June, as she shares with cleavage baring photos.

The actress also recounts how she lost her twin brother 15 years.

Read her post...

I was born into this world in two forms.A male and a female,15 years on earth;I lost my other me(my twin brother)...I felt I wasn’t going to make it alone cause I was so attached to my other being.
Well, look at me now...,I became the two all in one(myself in appearance and my brothers strength within)...I became bold, courageous and daring...people made fun of me,threw hateful words at me,rejected me,told me I wasn’t good enough, said I was never going to amount to anything..I smiled,I gathered all the negativity and boxed them, moved on and proved them all wrong.
It was only the grace of God that brought me this far.i am forever grateful and will never seize to adore him.
Today! I begin a new journey...a new phase and a better story.
As I mark my birthday today in adoration and gratitude to God,I urge you all to help me say a big AMEN to all my prayers cause it has been my source of strength..
Happy birthday to me.. I AM THE PARAGON OF BEAUTY AND MY MOTHERS PRIDE..
I am @ihemenancy the girl with a different vibe.

Atiku Abubakar's message on June 12 Democracy day by sophy22(f) : 12:09 am On Jun 13, 2019

June 12 is at the soul of our democratic struggle; a threshold in our national life.

The significance of the celebration of June 12, 1993, Presidential Election is a reminder of our history to becoming a democratic country. On this day twenty-six years ago, Nigeria voted for democracy against the jackboot notion of oppressive totalitarianism.

The collective decision by Nigerians to elect democracy on that day was not to aggrandize the political elite or to replace the military dictatorship with civilian autocracy. No! The choice of democracy was to restore power to the people.

Suffice it to state that the idea of June 12 is not merely to declare it as a Democracy Day – much as celebratory and commendable it might seem. The idea behind the event of June 12, 1993, embodies something much bigger than that. It was a threshold moment in our national life that demands of us as democrats to do a soul searching and ask the salient question of all time: how better off are Nigerians?

It is not enough to declare June 12 a Democracy Day when the government of the day is disrespectful of the rule of law and wantonly disregards court orders on issues that border on fundamental human rights. It is not enough to declare June 12 a work-free day when the ordinary people of Nigeria still don’t have the freedom to find a better life from the suffocating grip of poverty, when Nigeria is now the global headquarters of extreme poverty. It is not enough to declare June 12 a work-free day when a disproportionate number of citizens are not sure of where their next meal will come from and when the sanctity of their lives is not guaranteed. It is not enough to declare June 12 a work-free day when freedom of the press, and of speech, fundamentals of democracy is being assailed.

As a compatriot who stood shoulder to shoulder with the icon of the June 12 struggle, Chief MKO Abiola of blessed memory, I know first-hand that the choice of HOPE as his campaign slogan wasn’t merely a populist tokenism. He didn’t mean to deceive Nigerians with a hope he could not deliver upon. And, today, the minimum requirement for any June 12 convert is to demand of them wherever they may be – either in government or in private lives – to deliver on the promises they made to the people.

It is therefore not acceptable that an administration which had an opportunity of four years to deliver the promise of change to Nigerians, not only reneged on that promise but propelled the country into a near-comatose state will lay claims to being a true friend of the June 12 struggle.

To be a lover of June 12 is to believe in the common good of the people. June 12 is about the political leadership having the focus to retool the Nigerian economy. It is about having the skills to create wealth and jobs for the teeming mass of unemployed. It is not about the inclination for shared pains; it is about shared prosperity.

As we celebrate yet another episode of the June 12 struggle, the desire for hope is more preponderant today much as it was twenty-six years ago. So, for all true lovers of democracy, let us keep the HOPE alive.

How Armed Robber raped a Teacher in Lagos with polythene bag as condom by sophy22(f) : 12:37 am On Jun 13, 2019

A teacher (name withheld) of a Catholic Secondary School in Lagos has narrated before an Ikeja Sexual Offences and Domestic Violence Court how an armed robber raped her in her home using a polythene bag (poly bag) as protection.

The teacher made the revelation yesterday, while giving evidence during the trial of two men in their twenties— Babatunde Oluwaleke and Daniel Ojo— over alleged rape and robbery.

While being led in evidence by Mr. Akin George, the lead prosecuting counsel for the state, the teacher gave a harrowing account of how she was raped in her home by Oluwaleke on March 6, 2018.

She told the court that between 2a.m. and 3a.m., she was woken up by some noise and she saw two males, a tall one (Ojo) and a short one (Oluwaleke) both dark in complexion, ordering her to get up.

She said: “I told them I had no money and the first defendant (Oluwaleke) said I must produce money or he will kill me. “I was tying a wrapper and the first defendant asked me to lie on the bed. He took my Automated Teller Machine, ATM, card, mobile phones and all that I have.

"He brought out a knife, placed the tip on my stomach and threatened to stab me if I did not cooperate. When he opened my wrapper, he saw I was menstruating. I didn’t know from where he produced a poly bag.

“He tied the polybag on his joystick and inserted his joystick into my vagina. I was pleading that I could be his sister, but he ignored me, asking me to shut up. Much later, he removed the polybag and raped me using nothing. “When the first defendant was done, the second defendant was telling him that was not what they came for and that they needed to go.”

She said after they left, terrified, she prayed hoping that the other members of her household were unharmed. The teacher said when she went to check on members of her family, she realised that they had all slept through her ordeal. Her words: “My mother and her friend were still sleeping in the sitting room. Things were scattered and the contents of their handbags were emptied on the floor.

I woke them up and told them what happened. “We went downstairs where my younger brother stays and we noticed that the robbers used a rope to tie the door of the mosquito net, which is attached to a spring so that it does not make noise. “My younger brother was also still asleep with his friend. We woke them up and I told them what happened.”

The teacher said members of her family immediately reported the crime to the authorities and she was taken to the hospital that morning for medical examination and counselling. She said on that day, she was also taken to the Afonka Police Station, Alimosho, where four recently apprehended robbery suspects were shown to her.

Her words: “Immediately I saw the first defendant, I recognised him. Even with my eyes closed, I can identify him.” Obliging the request of Mr. O. Egbo, counsel to the defendants, for an adjournment, Justice Abiola Soladoye adjourned the case till September 30.

Parent of Madonna University student detained over Facebook post cries out. by sophy22(f) : 12:48 am On Jun 13, 2019

My son had one month to finish NYSC programme when they arrested him’

Awka—Parents of six students of Madonna University, Okija, detained since February over an opinion they posted on Facebook, in which they complained about alleged inhuman treatment in the university, have called for their release.

They made the plea, yesterday, as hundreds of members of National Association of Nigerian Students, NANS, blocked the gate of the Federal High Court, Awka, to protest the arraignment of the six students and a lecturer at the instance of authorities of the institution.

One of the Facebook posts read: “Good lecturers are scarce. Madonna University administration should be nice to our lecturers, or a good number of them will resign.”

The detained students were brought to court yesterday, although the court did not sit and were taken back to the Awka Prisons. They were charged for offences bordering on cyber crimes. Speaking with journalists yesterday, one of the parents of the detained students, Mr. Christopher Onyejekwe, said he had gone 11 times to the Founder of the university, Rev Fr. Emmanuel Edeh, to beg him to free his son, but to no avail.

In an emotion-laden voice, Onyejekwe said: “Fr. Ede arrested my son since February 19 till date and he has insisted that he will not release him, saying he will not release them until they die in prison.

“On one occasion, he told me to go and pray, which I did. After a while, I went to him with three prominent persons, knelt before him begging, but he still refused.

“That was how I stopped going to beg him. They detained these students in Police custody for more than a month before they were taken to Awka Prisons.

“I am begging Governor Willie Obiano of Anambra State and Bishop of Awka Diocese, Most Rev. Paulinus Ezeokafor, to please come to my rescue.” Another parent, Mrs Charity Nnamani, whose son, Chijioke Nnamani, was also accused, said her son was picked on February 4.

Her words: “My son had a month to pass out from the National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, in Asaba when the Police went to pick him on allegation that he is an armed robber, kidnapper and cultist.

“That was what was written in the petition they took to Delta, which made authorities of the NYSC to release him to the Police who brought him to Onitsha and then to Okija.”

Also speaking at the court premises, Vice President NANS, National Affairs, Mr. Chidi Ilozobe, who led the protest, gave authorities of Madonna University one week to withdraw the case, after which they would mobilise students nationwide to shut down the institution.

Ilozobe said: “We came to register our dissatisfaction on how the management of Madonna University is treating our members.

“Sometime in February, we got information that the Police, following a petition written by management of Madonna University, arrested some students of the institution.

“In the petition, they alleged that these students were criminals, cultists and fraudsters. But we know that our members are not kidnappers, fraudsters or cultists.

“However, we decided to investigate the matter, especially when it was understood that the petition was aimed at getting the accused persons out of the NYSC camp.

“We are not in a tyrannical or dictatorship rule and we are not practicing totalitarian system, where the masses have no voice.

“Students are intellectuals and are allowed to voice out whenever they feel that things are not going well, most especially on our campuses.

“We are issuing a seven-day ultimatum to the management of Madonna University, that if this case is not withdrawn within seven days from the Federal High Court, we are assuring them that we will mobilise students from all over the country.”
