Health Benefits of cockroaches by Psalmmy(m) : 8:45 pm On Jul 02, 2020

Cockroaches can be very clean and tasty insects, particularly if they are fed on fresh fruits and vegetables, contrary to common belief. Toasted, baked, sauced, or cooked, they can be served. Cockroaches have a taste and texture as greasy chicken, of truth and reality. Cockroach tastes like chicken burned away. It is a healthy protein source. As food chain participants we will see them as food when faced with choices of survival. When you eat a cockroach, the overwhelming feeling you would have the ability to become nutritious both outside and inside.

Yeah, it is now scientifically known that cockroaches are edible and safe to consume and high in protein concentrations.

Oh indeed, he ought to have properly cooked to remove his bacteria on his body. We probably consider it disgusting to eat insects especially in western society we don't even consider them. But they include in their diet in many cultures, notably Asians including cockroaches and other insects.

In Thailand, they consider Cockroaches a delicious dish especially when the crunchy texture and taste are deep-fried in the oil.

"If I say cockroach, you 're likely to lose your appetite immediately, but if you can conquer your understandable revulsion and wolf down a couple of their young'uns, you 're going to do your body a big favor.

A 100-gram cockroaches serving contains 24 micrograms of vitamin B12, almost 10 times the RDA. B12 keeps the nerve and blood cells of the body healthy and also helps to produce DNA, the genetic material of all cells.

After many testimonies on the yummy experience of eating cockroaches from several mouths, I believe it is high time the world saw the basic reasons for eating this delicious diet. Consuming a cockroach or a powdered fried roaches in a taste-wise way sounds like enjoying nuts and consuming a tasty cookie. You can't really find out you were eating a roach because its taste combines well with chocolate. And the tastes like groundnut fried.

D'banj Sue's his rape accusers by Psalmmy(m) : 7:14 am On Jul 07, 2020

Oladapo Daniel Oyebanjo, popularly known as D'banj, has sued his rape accuser, Seyitan Babatayo for N1.5 billion Naira.
In an initial lawsuit, D'banj demanded N100 million Naira from Seyitan Babatayo for "defamation of character" after she accused him of rape and demanded an apology through her lawyers.
Now, after all that has happened in recent times, D'banj, through his lawyer, Mike Ozekhome Chambers, has asked Ms Babatayo to pay N1.5 billion Naira.
N1 billion was demanded in damages "over the untold embarrassment, derision, public ridicule, odium, obloguy, marital disharmony, mental agony and psychological trauma which the Defendants' tweets and publication have caused the claimant."
N500 million was demanded as "aggravated, puniitive, and exemplary damages."
The suit also demanded that Seyitan writes D'banj "a letter of unreserved apology for the offensive tweets and posts".
D'banj's lawyers also prayed the court to grant "an order of perpetual injunction restraining the defendant from further publishing, tweeting or posting offesnive libelous statements."
Recall that a week ago, Seyitan released a statement detailing the timeline of her case with D'banj. She had initially posted a tweet denying that she was arrested on D'banj's orders. She also said she wanted to put everything behind her.
However, in the statement released afterwards, she said she was arrested and held for 24 hours after which she was released to D'banj's team who took her to an undisclosed location, denied her access to her family and lawyers, threatened her, took over control of her social media account, and coerced her to retract her statement .
On Thursday, July 2, activist Segun "Segalink" Awosanya shared a thread on Twitter where he said Seyitan was not detained by D'banj's team as claimed . However, today, he did a turnaround and stated that Seyitan didn't lie and that she was indeed detained but not "kidnapped" by D'banj's team as the "e-femists" claimed .
Below are documents from D'banj's lawyers demanding N1.5 billion from Seyitan.

Atiku rejects ever being friends with hushpuppi by Psalmmy(m) : 11:05 pm On Jul 07, 2020

The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2019 general election, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and the immediate past President of the Senate, Dr. Bukola Saraki saturday tackled the All Progressives Congress (APC) for linking them to a suspected cyber-criminal, Ramon Olorunwa Abbas (a.k.a. Hushpuppi).

APC’s call on anti-graft agencies to investigate reports linking some PDP leaders and Hushpuppi stoked stern reactions from Abubakar and Saraki with both of them claiming that the ruling party was playing dirty politics.

In a statement by its spokesperson, Yekini Nabena yesterday, the APC asked the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Nigerian Financial Intelligence Unit (NFIU) and other sister agencies to investigate some PDP leaders and financiers.

The APC noted that the PDP leadership turned Dubai into their strategic meeting place ahead of the 2019 general elections in Nigeria, adding that Hushpuppi’s affinity with the PDP leadership was not mere coincidence.

It said reports of the criminal conspiracy linking the top echelon of the PDP with Hushpuppi who was recently arrested along with associates in Dubai and extradited to the United States to face trial over cyber-enabled fraud and Business Email Compromise (BEC) schemes should be a matter of serious interest to relevant authorities in Nigeria.

It said: “At different times, “Hushpuppi” was been photographed in Dubai meeting with the PDP’s 2019 presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar; former Senate President, Bukola Saraki; former Speaker, House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara; Senator Dino Melaye among other PDP stalwarts.”

The ruling party said while relevant authorities investigate the nature of their relationship and business partnership, he also challenged the PDP leadership to do the same by opening up on the nature of the relationship, particularly the kind of services Hushpuppi provided them.

Reacting to the allegations through his media aide, Mr. Yusuph Olaniyonu, Saraki accused the APC of playing irresponsible and cheap politics that had weakened ongoing efforts against corruption.

He said: “The statement credited to the APC, the ruling party in our country, is one of the ways by which our anti-graft agencies are weakened, why the fight against corruption in the country is often viewed with suspicion by the international community.

“This is because when these cyber-crime suspects were operating freely and openly displaying wealth, the APC saw nothing bad in their activities. Also, the party at that time did not deem it necessary to call on the anti-graft agencies to investigate their activities.

“Also, since the arrest of those cybercrime suspects and the subsequent damage to the image and the economy of Nigeria as well as the crisis it created for Nigerians engaged in lawful businesses across the world, the ruling party had been muted.

“The only time the APC deemed it necessary to make a statement was when it thought it should play dirty, cheap, and irresponsible politics. At this point, we call on the APC to rein in the so-called Yekini Nabena and compel him to desist from making and circulating such malicious claims.”

Abubakar, though his media adviser, Paul Ibe, said his principal didn’t meet with the suspected cybercriminal, hedging that it was only “a mere photo-op.”

“We would advise the APC and Mr. Nabena to be very mindful of such senseless statements in the future especially as the case under reference is a subject of litigation in another country,” the statement read.

“Had they been more sensitive, they would have come to terms with the reality that the case is a national embarrassment – not something to cheer about for any political blackmail.”

On Friday, Hushpuppi, whose real name is Raymond Abass, was charged with the conspiracy to commit money laundering before a United States court, one for which he could get a maximum jail term of 20 years if convicted

Dubai police finally revealed why they helped in arresting hushpuppi. by Psalmmy(m) : 11:14 pm On Jul 07, 2020

The police in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, have explained why popular

Nigerian Instagram celebrity, Hushpuppi, was arrested on June 10, 2020.

UAE’s online newspaper, The National, reported on Wednesday that he was arrested on multiple fraud charges along with 12 other accomplices.

The paper also revealed his real name as Raymond Abbas and his real age as 38 years.

His case has been referred to the Dubai Public Prosecution and is currently being questioned by prosecutors at the Bur Dubai section, the paper reported.

“The prosecutors have charged him for “obtaining money from others through fraudulent means,” the paper said.

According to The National, security officers in UAE arrested Hushpuppi and the 12 others against widespread belief that it was Interpol that carried out the operation.

“They would send out letters from email addresses almost identical to those of legitimate companies targeting customers of these companies with the purpose of diverting payments to themselves,” said a senior prosecutor quoted by the paper.

“Initial information includes that he was part of this gang which fraudulently obtained cash and cars from people.

“His statement was taken by prosecution but this is just the beginning of prosecution investigations.”

The paper also reported that Hushpuppi is wanted for fraud crimes in Europe, the United States and Nigeria.

The 38-year-old has over two million followers on Instagram where he is famed for displaying wealth and a life of luxury.

What is this country turning into?

Enough is enough, all primary 6, jss3 and ss3 students should resume by Psalmmy(m) : 1:45 am On Jul 14, 2020

Almost 4 month since the Federal Government decided to close schools as part of the measures in curtailing the spread of the coronavirus in the country, still, no hope seems to be in sight on school resumption.

In March, schools alongside some other sectors such Transportation, Businesses among others were suspended during the enforced lockdown in the country.

However, fast forward to almost 4 months during which the government at the central gradually eased out the lockdown, schools still remain shut.

The ban on Markets, churches, mosques, Banks, inter-state travel, domestic flights e.t.c have all been lifted but still schools remain closed.

Students still remain at home, hopeful of the day they would be asked to resume back to schools but such hope gets slimmer and slimmer every day.

When the Federal Government initially declared the safe reopening of schools for graduating students so they can start preparations towards writing their terminal examinations, it brought relief to these students and there was the belief that maybe sooner than later, schools would be fully reopened for others as well.

However, such high hopes were shattered soon enough as the Federal Government decided to rescind it's earlier decision and suspended the school reopening while also canceling the West African Senior Secondary Certificate Examination(WASSCE) for graduating SS 3 students.

While disclosing the government decision to suspend the earlier planned resumption of schools, minister of Education , Mal. Adamu Adamu stated that schools can not resume because it is unsafe to do so. He noted that he would prefer that students lose a whole academic year instead of being exposed to danger.

However, the questions that have been on the lips of some students are when will it be safe to reopen schools? Are these students that are supposedly protected from danger not exposed to the same danger already through the lifting of ban on markets, religious centers e.t.c? What are the implications of students loosing a whole academic year?

This writer is of the opinion that schools should reopen this year and graduating students should be allowed to write their exams. Why?

1. There is no reason why schools should not reopen since the ban on markets, religious centres, movements as well as inter-state travel can be lifted. Imagine the size and rustiness of markets, what if any parent get infected there and easily transmit the infection to the children at home that are supposedly kept from the same danger? The virus can even spread faster through markets and other places than it would in the school, so why not just reopen schools under strict regulations to adhered to.

2. Already, there is already a wide gap in knowledge of these students because they have been kept away from their studies for too long, imagine the efforts it would take teachers to help these students catch up with the system when schools finally resume. Meanwhile the earlier schools reopen, the better for these students.
[img][/img]

3. Students risk being lured into nefarious activities while at home. An idle hand they say is the devil's workshop. A student who should be in school but is at home doing nothing could easily fall into crime or even exposed to far more dangers. We already have enough of violence caused by illiteracy, there is no need to add to that.

4. There is already a fall in the standard of education in the country. The standard of good educationa is already very low, it could suffer even worse should schools continue to be kept locked. This is why Government should invest more in education and look at ways these schools can be reopened.

5. Teachers are suffering, majority of teachers especially private school teachers whose main source of livelihood depend solely on the salary they get paid by the school owners are really suffering at the moment. This is because no money is coming in for these set of people and the government is not offering anything to alleviate them of their suffering for the mean time. These set of teachers standard of living could only get better if schools resume.

Conclusion: Government needs to do the needful and start taking proactive steps that would facilitate the reopening of schools albeit under strict guidelines to follow so that the academic year can be completed. Students should not be given automatic failure just like that.

"Please leave our club". Man U fans blast star player as they drop points by Psalmmy(m) : 11:12 am On Jul 14, 2020

Manchester United played with in-form Southampton in a bid to go home with all 3 points in other time move up to third position but were unable to do so.

Manchester United failed to move up to third position as a late goal from Southampton’s Obafemi left the Red Devils devastated and made them go home with just a single point.

Goals from Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial were not enough to give them all three points.

However, most Manchester United fans were not pleased with the performance of Harry Maguire as he was mostly blamed for the equalizer in the last minute of second half.

Here are what some Man U fans said about the player;

@CopyOfOne , “United fans really need to stop pretending Maguire is good. He's Chris Smalling with with a Fendy label.”

@Chicruz_William , “Maguire needs to wake up too. Too many slips from him, of he continues this way it might lead to a goal. Step up Maguire.”

@wazzer_united , “Maguire started so sh!t and same again in 2nd half. #MUNSOU”

@Chihope10 , “Maguire is so slow on the ball
