A confirmation have been made in by the delta state police comand orthe killing by PrincessDD(f) : 10:37 pm On Mar 13, 2021

[img][/img][Gunmen attack Delta community, kill 52-year-old man by jadoo51(m) : 10:09 am On Mar 08

A confirmation has been made by the Delta State Police Command of the killing of a 52-year-old man, Prince Muvi Unagha, by gunmen suspected to be aggrieved members of the disbanded community vigilante who reportedly caused a commotion in Evwreni community, Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State on Saturday.

The Acting Police Public Relations Officer for the State Command, DSP Edafe Bright told journalists on Sunday that “pt’s true that a young man was shot dead yesterday at Evwreni.”

Speaking further, the police spokesman said, “As we speak, the police are on the trail of the suspects, in order to bring them to book.”

While noting that no arrest has been made in connection with the crime, the Acting PPRO, however, assured that operatives of the Command “will continue to monitor the situation of things and keep the public updated.”

“It is our hope that justice is served and seen to be served in the matter,” he said.

The PUNCH gathered that some hoodlums suspected to be aggrieved members of the disbanded community vigilante, on Saturday at about 4.00pm, stormed a popular drinking joint in the community and started shooting sporadically at those suspected to be their enemies.

Not less than four cars were reportedly damaged by the rampaging gang.

According to sources, the incident occurred as some community youths gathered at the drinking joint. Suddenly, three cars in a convoy pulled over, and their occupants opened fire on those at the joint, prompting everybody to scamper for safety.

In the ensuing pandemonium, Unagha who was on a commercial motorcycle within the vicinity quickly asked the okada rider to detour but unknown to him, some of the attacking gunmen who were also riding bikes trailed and shot Unagha on the leg.

Consequently, Unagha was said to have been rushed to the ‘A’ Division, Police Headquarters, Ughelli to obtain a treatment authority letter, and from there to the Central Hospital, Ughelli where he eventually died, due to over bleeding.

The death of Unagha was said to have further heightened tension in Evwreni community, leading to many residents relocating from the community for fears of both further and reprisal attacks.

Recall that Evwreni community has been engulfed in crisis in the past one year leading to the death of more than eight persons and properties worth over N150 million destroyed.

Becoming to in class by PrincessDD(f) : 11:28 pm On Mar 13, 2021

Becoming Part of the Top Ten in Class by Davedaviel(m) : 12:48 am On Feb 13

Many times, a lot of students longed to be successful in class, but their plans have been aborted.
'Success' they say is a gradual process. Yeah! It is. In the same vein, a lot of students have been very successful in their classes. The questions now are 'Did God create us differently?' 'Is our brains different from one another?' the answer is a capital 'No.' You are actually what you want to be!

WHAT THEN DIFFERENTIATES BEST STUDENTS FROM THE OTHERWISE?
Hmm... It's 'Time' that differentiates these two characters. Many of us think success is a 'cheap thing' because it's a 'cheap talk.' (Smiles) success is never easy to come by. Successful students don't boast of their past wins, they rather fortify themselves to reach a sphire. Successful students subscribe to the slogan 'Time and tides wait for no man!' This help them to plan ahead of time. 'If you fail to plan, you will plan to fail!'
Many a times, students planned success, but came out as a failure at the end. It is not because majority of them did not planned to succeed, but rather, it is how often they connect to their plans.
'A plan without practice is dead!" Come to think of it, how do successful students succeed?

HOW DO SUCCESSFUL STUDENTS SUCCEED?
(1) They understand the need to succeed or thrive.
(2) They mingle with their reflections (birds of a feather should flock together).
(3) They plan ahead of time.
(4) They know their reading patterns.
(5) They have priorities.
(6) They don't underestimate or belittle themselves.
(7) They don't miss classes or lectures.
(8) They are well fortified for newer task ahead.
(9) They are prayerful.
(10) They are optimistic.
BOTTOM LINE: As you accede to all these tips, I see you with a good aftermath.

Why i dumped visual arts- Boda Shaggi by PrincessDD(f) : 1:08 am On Mar 15, 2021

Samuel Animashaun Perry, better known as Broda Shaggi, is a Nigerian comedian, actor, songwriter and musician.

Fans of comedian and actor, have often wondered where he gets the energy he exudes from. In an interview with Sunday Scoop, he stated that his liveliness and zest for life were inborn.
He said, “My energy is inborn. It has always been in me. Talent cannot be learnt in any school. I studied Visual Arts at the University of Lagos. But with the situation of things in Nigeria, how many people can afford to buy paintings? I had to find another way.

“Whenever I am on set, I am always happy because I know I am going to work. If I am not on a movie set, I would be on my own set shooting skits. If I am not on set, I would be shooting music videos or writing music.”

Professing his love for fuji music, Broda Shaggi said, “I am working with Pasuma on a fuji song. Right from my childhood, I have always loved Pasuma and K1 de Ultimate. I love anything that has to do with my culture. That is why I love Yoruba music. I cannot speak Yoruba all the time in my skits because of my audience, which includes fans that don’t speak Yoruba. But in whatever I do, I make sure the Yoruba culture is reflected there.”

Shaggi, who is an ambassador for several brands, also stated that he would keep doing the things the brands saw in him that made them approach him.
