Where are my Cookies lovers? Here is a little something for you to try out.
Ingredients:
➡️300g butter
➡️600g flour
➡️150g sugar
➡️1 tsp baking powder
➡️3 tbsp milk
➡️1 egg
Procedure:
1. In a bowl add your sugar and butter. Mix using a mixer or wooden spatula. Mixing must be done in one direction only (either clockwise or anti-clockwise).
2. Add the egg and mix again.
3. In another bowl, sieve the flour, baking powder, and milk and mix using an egg whisk or spoon.
4. Add the powdered ingredients in 3 above to the wet ingredients in 1 and 2. Mix everything together.
N.B: You can break some chocolate bars and add to this, then mix together.
5. Grease the oven tray by using a brush to spread some butter all over it.
6. Cut the dough into bits and roll out on a rolling board using your rolling pin.
7. Place the different shapes of cookie cutter on the rolled out dough to get your desired shapes and arrange them on the prepared oven tray.
8. Bake in a preheated oven for 10-15 minutes. 9. Remove the tray from the oven and allow the cookies to cool.
Serve with any chilled juice of choice
