Zubby Michael’s marriage and relationship

Zubby Michael is one of Nollywood eligible bachelors. The actor has never been married except in movies.

Zubby Michael once dated the sister of Paul and Peter Okoye of the defunct P-Square group named Mary Jane Okoye, during the early rise of his career as an actor.

Unfortunately, the relationship only lasted for a while before they parted ways. The actor has since then remained single, keeping his private life away from the media. According to him, he is more concerned about his career at this time and refrains from addressing himself as the ‘ladies man’. The actor reportedly once admitted he has a phobia for women.

However, there have been rumours of his romantic involvement with the likes of actresses Destiny Etiko and Regina Daniels.

Zubby Michael’s relationship with Mary Jane Okoye

Zubby Michael and P-Square’s sister Mary Jane Okoye had a promising relationship until things turn sour between them. The ex-lovers dated for two years after they met at the wedding reception of Nollywood actor Mike Ezuruonye in May 2010.

According to reports, they broke up based on the different interests they had in life. Mary was ready to settle down and get married, while the actor was more concerned about his career which was just starting to take off.

After their breakup, Mary Jane Okoye moved on to get married to another Nollywood actor Emma Emordi, while Zubby Michael diverted all his attention towards his career.

Mary Jane Okoye new relationship

Mary Jane Okoye got married to Nollywood actor Emma Emordi after her breakup with Zubby Michael. They got married on March 6, 2014, in Asaba, Delta State.

Unfortunately, the marriage crashed after six years and they parted ways in 2020. According to Mary Jane, her estranged husband was a serial cheat and a thief. She also made it known that Emma Emordi infected her with an STD at some point in their marriage.

Zubby Michael’s relationship with Destiny Etiko

Zubby has been rumoured to be romantically involved with Nollywood actress Destiny Etiko several times. Some of the reports even claim they are married.

According to reports, they have both been caught on camera sharing passionate kisses in public, with Destiny flaunting an engagement ring at one time. It was later discovered that the two were on a movie set together where they played romantic partners.

The rumour of Zubby Michael and Destiny Etiko’s intimate affair got escalated after the actress shared a picture of herself and Zubby from the set of the movie ‘Royal Dominance‘. Her caption on the picture which read ‘Eze and his wife’ ignited more fire to the speculations.

However, Destiny Etiko has blatantly debunked the rumour of her being Zubby Michael’s lover, stating that though she shares a very special bond with the actor, they are not romantically involved.

Zubby Michael, on the other hand, has never for once said anything or addressed his relationship with the actress.

Zubby Michael rumoured relationship with Regina Daniels

Zubby Michael was also alleged of being romantically involved with young Nollywood actress, Regina Daniels.

The rumour of their affair hit the media after Regina shared a picture of herself and Zubby on her Instagram page.

However, it was later discovered that the Nollywood stars were only posing for the gram and had nothing intimate going on. Zubby Michael and Regina Daniels have reportedly been friends for a long time and have both featured in several movies together even before Regina got married to her billionaire husband, Ned Nwoko.

Zubby Michael’s children

According to verifiable information, Nollywood actor Zubby Michael has no biological children, as of the time of publishing this post.

Zubby Michael was once speculated to be the biological father of the small-sized Nollywood actor, Chikamso Ejiofor popularly known as ‘Ozonigbo’.

The speculation of Zubby Michael being the father of the diminutive actor hit the media after Zubby celebrated one of his birthdays in grand style.

However, it later became known that Zubby Michael is not the biological father of Ejiofor, though he has adopted the actor referring to him as his ‘Nollywood son’.

Chikamso Ejiofor is often compared to the likes of Nollywood comic actors, Chinedu Ikedezie and Osita Iheme popularly called ‘Aki and Pawpaw‘ because of his diminutive size. His date of birth is recorded as March 6, 1994, making him 27 years old.

BREAKING: Gunmen attack Oyo prison, set inmates free
PoliticsnigeriaOct 23, 2021Read original
The correctional facility in Abolongo, Oyo, Oyo State was attacked by yet-to-be-identified gunmen on Friday evening. The attackers set free many prisoners therein, multiple reports say.

The gunmen stormed the facility at about 10pm on Friday, attacking with grenades to gain access and set prisoners free.

POLITICS NIGERIA reports that the attack left the facility in disarray with warders scampering for safety.

Other security agencies have since mobilized their personnel to support men and women of the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCS) in tracking down the gunmen and rearresting prisoners.

Often, when prison break occurs, effort are made by the NCS in conjunction with security agency to rearrest the escapee and return them to the prison and this may result in the extension of their jail term. Prison break in Nigeria may be attributed to corruption, poor funding of the prison services, poor prison facilities, inadequate security features such as CCTV, motion sensors, high wall made up of barbed wire and sometimes electric fencing of the wall.

IPOB DECLARES 1 WEEK SIT AT HOME FROM NOV-5 PUBLISHED ON OCTOBER 23 by Donells(m) : 4:05 am On Oct 24, 2021

The Indigenous People of of Biafra (IPOB) has declared one week sit-at-home protest from November 5 to November 10, to prevail on the Federal to release its leader, Nnamdi Kanu.

The order is coming at a time when Anambra State is preparing for its governorship election, which comes up on November 6.

IPOB’s Media and Public Secretary, Emma Powerful disclosed this in a statement made available to our correspondent in Awka, Anambra State on Saturday.

Powerful said, “Following the adjournment of our great leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu’s court case to 10th of November 2021, by the Federal High Court, Abuja, we the great movement and family of the Indigenous People of Biafra wish to inform Biafrans, friends of Biafra and lovers of freedom that IPOB will lock down Biafraland from 5th of November to 10th of November except Sunday, November 7th, a day our people worship the Almighty God if the Nigeria Government fails to release our leader unconditionally before 4th of November 2021.

“Our leader, Onyendu Mazi Nnamdi must be released unconditionally on or before November 4, 2021 because he has not committed any offense known to any law.

“Failure to release our leader Onyendu Mazi Nnamdi Kanu on or before November 4, 2021, our one week Sit-At-Home begins on November 5, 2021 till November 10.

“Although we quite understand the pains and adverse effects of this option on our people, we are compelled to take it to achieve a better purpose in the collective interest of Biafrans.

“We have taken time to analyse what transpired on October 21 when our Leader was arraigned in court and discovered that the federal government is not sincere and only wants to humiliate him and keep him perpetually in DSS custody to rot there.

“We all saw how lawyers, journalists, Igbo delegates and respected traditional rulers and other people who came from all around the world to witness his court case were restricted and denied access into the court premises by security agents who kept them outside under the scorching heat of the sun. What a humiliation and wickedness!

“We cannot accept that anymore. We can never allow our leader Onyendu Mazi Nnamdi Kanu to be tried secretly and we can never also allow him to be tried under Sharia law under any guise. Nigeria must follow International laws in handling our leader.

“Unless the federal government releases him unconditionally before November 4, we shall sacrifice one week for him as a warning protest to convey to our oppressors that Nnamdi Kanu represents over 70 million Biafrans.

“He is innocent of all the charges preferred against him. As long as he is in detention our individual businesses do not matter so much because he is suffering for us all and we can’t abandon him.

“We seriously regret the inconveniences this may cause our people but it’s a necessary sacrifice we need to make until we have our full independence. Nobody resident in Biafra land is expected to flout this directive as doing so amounts to challenging the will of the people on the Biafra project,” the release stated.
