Nollywood actor, Uche Maduagwu has told Nigerian ladies that marriage is not a privilege or luck.

Maduagwu also says approaching 30 or above without getting married doesn’t mean there is a problem.

Speaking in an Instagram post, he further stated that marriage does not define anybody.

“Marriage does not define you, approaching 30 or above and not married does not mean you have a problem… Dear ladies, marriage is not a privilege or luck, but a choice. Stop making people treat you as if there is something spiritually wrong with you simply because your friends or sisters are all married and you are yet to, this is 2020, ignore or stay far away from people with that mentality. If you choose to hang around or listen to such people, they will not only spoil your happy mood, but also lure you into putting unnecessary pressure on the person you are currently in a beautiful relationship with. Wedding takes place in a day, but marriage is meant to be for a life time, so if its taking you much time to selecting the most suitable man to journey with you on a marriage path of a life time, is the waiting not worth it?”

I will not count the times you disappeared from house to jump the fence of the field to play with the ball, and I will not tell the day we went to the beach together and the mother still thinks that we went to the catechesis meeting and that’s when they appeared (the dribbles to CR7), rest assured there are things I keep just for us, there are but I am not going to tell you that you loved to sleep in bed and with Elma in the same bed, remember?

Until today I miss those times, bro, you know how much I love you forever, you will always be our boy, it was back there that everything started, it was your story, it was the ups and downs, it was the difficulties, it was your personality you wanting, it was the love of our family, it was everything that made beings who you are and is that man to fight and a warrior family.
