President Muhammadu Buhari was joined by members of his immediate family to observe the Eid-el-Fitr prayers at the presidential villa, Abuja on Sunday.

The president had earlier stated his intention not to go to the mosque while admonishing all Muslim faithful to avoid large congregations to avert the spread of COVID-19.

He had also advised normal visitors to the villa during Sallah celebrations not to bother to come at this time.

COVID-19: Bauchi govt spends N1,500 per meal on patient ― Official by Ashiwaju812(m) : 12:26 am On May 25, 2020

Bauchi State Primary HealthCare Development Agency (PHCDA) says the state government spends N1,500 per single meal for COVID-19 patients on admission in the state.

Dr Rilwanu Mohammed, Executive Chairman of the agency, disclosed this in an interview with News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Bauchi on Sunday.

Mohammed, who is also the Chairman, contact tracing Committee on COVID-19 in the state, said the state governor, Bala Mohammad gave the directives in order to ensure that all the COVID-19 patients in the state were well fed.


He said the idea was to make sure that they feel more at home and avoid a replica protest or revolt by COVID-19 patients in some other states.

“It was the state government that ordered us that we should put N1,500 per single meal in a day.

“That is, N1,500 meal during breakfast, the same amount for lunch as well as dinner because he doesn’t want anybody in isolation to suffer or complain so that we won’t have any riot like in some other states.

Police Storms Burna Boy’s House As Neigbours Accuse Him Of N100m Debt by Ashiwaju812(m) : 1:14 am On May 25, 2020

Nigerian Grammy nominated singer, Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy was visited by Policemen at his Lagos Mansion after the singer had a face off with his neighbours.

According to reports, the relationship between Burna Boy and his neighbours went sour over continual noise in the neighbourhood and when the situation became unbearable, some neighbors called the police to come to their rescue.
Officers of Lagos Police Command arrived the singer’s mansion at night, one of his neighbors at the scene confirmed that mobile policemen assigned to the Ye Crooner were disarmed as they also demand the arrest of his father for aiding and abetting the singer’s actions.

While recounting their ordeal in the hands of the singer, the neigbours alleged that Burna Boy owes N100m, to complete payment for the land he used to build his house.

They also lamented about oppression and threats received from the singer as they mention that other VIPs who have mobile policemen assigned to them don’t misuse their security officers. They mentioned celebrities like Jude Ighalo who lives quite close, said the footballer and other VIPs maintains decorum in the neighborhood without noise.
