Lil Wayne has been sued by a security guard who claims the rapper violently punched him in the face, and it’s a hate crime against white people.

In a lawsuit reported by TMZ, the California man claims he was working the front door at Hyde nightclub on the Sunset Strip in June 2016 when Weezy and his crew showed up for a BET Music Awards after-party and started acting belligerent.

According to the docs … the guard felt physically threatened but was trying to do his job controlling entry into the club when the rapper punched him with a closed fist and knocked him to the ground

The man claims Lil Wayne then threw a glass filled with alcohol in his face and yelled, “F*** you white boy!” … which he claims makes it a hate crime.

Wayne’s camp has denied the rapper punched the guy, claiming that the security guard was working Wayne’s VIP section, not the door.

Lil Wayne’s team acknowledged that brief altercation occurred when the man grabbed Wayne by the arm, not realizing who he was. That, his team says, was it. In fact, Wayne’s camp said the security guard even apologized for the incident.



The man claims his jaw was disclocated and his shoulder injured due to Weezy and his team attacking him at the door. So he is suing not only Wayne, but also his record label and Hyde for the alleged assault and battery.

He’s also asking for $25,000 for being the victim of a hate crime.

That's right -- she went from a see-through top to flaunting her bare breast.

If this is intentional, it's a pretty bold move.

Now, Selena isn't a teen star anymore.

She'll be turning 25 next month -- old enough to rent a car! -- and is plenty old enough to decide exactly how much of her body the world gets to see.

Some people might want to shame her for having the audacity to possess boobs and not dressing like she's in The Handmaid's Tale.

But at least a few of those same people probably didn't bat an eye at her ex Justin Bieber baring his 6utt to the world on Instagram.

Or just being straight-up photographed naked, full frontal style, while out and about with a lady friend.

Women almost invariably face ridiculous double-standards.

Literally imagine if Justin Bieber flashing his nipples were something that we considered a "malfunction" instead of "any day of the week."


Sure, people can come up with conspiracy theories -- if someone were trying to blackmail her with nudes, for example, flashing her own b0*b to the world would go a long way towards showing that she doesn't give a flip.

But we think that she's a smart young woman and just more confident than ever.

Nobody needs to freak out just because some of their normal human body got some air.

Two men were overpowered and gang-r*ped by seven women in separate incidents, according to the police in Zimbabwe.

According to Herald Zimbabwe, one man was held up with a gun, forced into the bush, r*ped and then drugged while the other was knocked out by a drink and abused while unconscious.

The police who are now investigating the crime have urged members of the public to be vigilant in case they are picked up by the women after a spate of female-on-male rapes in the country.
The Chief Superintendent Paul Nyathi said one of the two recent victims, aged 37, was picked up in Harare on May 27 by a car containing one man and two women.

A woman who came aboard at the same time, the policeman said, pointed what seemed to be a pistol at the man after the driver had taken the car on a detour.

Chief Supt Nyathi said the woman force-marched the man into the bush, adding:

‘One of the females forced the complainant to have sexual intercourse with him without his consent while another female accused forced the complainant to drink an unknown liquid which left the complainant unconscious.’

The other man also boarded a car in Harare, this one containing five unknown people, before being offered a drink by a woman which knocked him unconscious. Chief Supt Nyathi said:

‘When the complainant gained consciousness he discovered that he had been abused.’

If there's one thing that truly unites the Kardashian family, it's a fondness for cultural appropriation.

Designer Destiney Bleu, after repeatedly calling out Khloe and accusing her of ripping off her designs.

She did this so much that Khloe's legal team sent a nasty cease-and-desist order.

Of course, most small-time designers would be quaking in their boots when threatened with a rich person's lawsuit.

Even if you're in the right, just letting a lawsuit drag out in court can completely exhaust someone's finances. You can win the case but have your life ruined.

Destiney has majorly clapped back, and no matter which of them you believe about the propietary issues, these words are absolutely worth reading.

We wonder if Khloe is regretting any of that now?


Though the response letter comes from Destiney's legal representative, it seems pretty clear that Destiney's words are involved.

Because the letter is decidedly not limited to legal jargon.

"It is not illegal for Khloe to copy Destiney's designs -- it is just tacky, disrespectful, and in bad taste," says Destiney's scathing response letter, as reported by TooFab.

"There is also something deeply uncomfortable about someone with Khloe's wealth and power appropriating designs and fashion directly from a black woman with a small business without crediting her, making cheap knockoffs, and then attempting to threaten her into silence."

Hold on a moment, we need to print out that line and frame it and hang it on our wall.

But the letter continues.

"You should be ashamed."


It's clear that we're all meant to know exactly what Khloe's lawyers are demanding from Destiney.


"You demand that Destiney 'cease and desist' her 'false statements,' 'make an appropriate corrective statement,' and 'that [Destiney's] trolls stop attacking [Khloe Kardashian’s] social media channels.'"

How exactly is Destiney expected to stop other people from independently tweeting at Khloe?

With magic? Sorry, Khloe's legal team, but even if you happen to think that all black people look alike, Destiney isn't Azealia Banks.

"However, your attempt to censor Destiney with these meritless threats will have the opposite of its intended effect. Destiney will not surrender to your bullying."

That lawyer's absolutely right about the opposite effect business, because if Khloe had never tried to shut down Destiney's statements, a lot of people might never have heard about this.


And, by the way, Destiney's also happy to provide evidence of correspondences she had, which she says prove that Khloe had access to Destiney's samples ... before going on to copy them.

Peris Wangechi has been in the UAE for over 10 years. She was named best taxi driver in Dubai. She hails from Mukurwe-ini in Nyeri County, Kenya

In yet another example of Kenyan excellence in the diaspora, a 36-year-old Kenyan woman won the coveted best taxi driver award in Dubai.

The United Arab Emirates government, through Dubai’s police authorities, handed Peris Wangechi the award in August last year in recognition of her outstanding professional and safety record.

She was the first Kenyan to receive the annual recognition. It rewards taxi drivers for going through the year without any accidents, traffic offenses or demerit points on their licenses.

In an interview with Nairobi News, Peris said she has been in the UAE for over 10 years and a taxi driver with the Dubai Taxi Corporation for six years.

She added that they see each other often despite the distance between them. She said: “I am entitled to 60 days annual leave. During his school holidays he visits and I am in Nairobi every December.”

The are plenty of sequels no one cares about this summer:

But not even the stalest of movie franchises can compete with eyeroll-inducing tedium that comes with yet another round of the endless feud between Katy Perry and Taylor Swift.



If you saw her cringe-inducing dabs during her recent SNL performance, you know that Katy has been waging a non-stop war against coolness, but she's taken time out from that tireless campaign to fire more shots at her lanky, blonde rival.

The beef began anew when Katy released "Swish, Swish," a single in which she took some pretty blatant digs at Taylor.

It continued when Katy challenged Taylor to "finish" their feud during an appearance on The Late, Late Show with James Corden.

It's still not totally clear what she meant by that comment (fingers crossed for a West Side Story-esque dance-fight), but one thing is abundantly apparent:

Katy has no intention of letting this thing go.


Asked about her comments to Corden in a recent interview with NME, Perry elaborated - but kept it cryptic:

“Well, James Corden makes me and the whole world feel very safe,” Perry said.

That may sound like a fairly Zen take on the matter, but Katy says she's no ancient Eastern ascetic:

Former World Boxing heavyweight champion, Vitali Klitschko has admitted he caused the defeat of his younger brother, Wladimir by Anthony Joshua.

Vitali said he is plagued by guilt after offering the “wrong advice” to Wladimir in the corner at Wembley.




The Ukrainian appeared on the brink of a dramatic victory when he floored Joshua in the sixth round of the world heavyweight title fight, but Joshua fought back to produce a stunning stoppage win in the 11 th round.

Vitali was one of Wladimir’s coaches and bitterly regrets his decision to demand a cautious approach from his younger brother after he badly hurt Joshua.

He told Boxingscene, “Immediately after the fight, we were barely speaking. We do not need to talk, it was just enough to look into each other’s eyes.

“Only in the locker room, I thanked him for one of the best fights of his career. I know how important this fight was for him and unfortunately, we saw what happened. In the heavyweight division, each punch can be decisive.

“I blame myself for the defeat of my brother, I share some of the blame. When Wladimir almost knocked Joshua out, I gave him the wrong advice.

Love her or hate her, there's no denying that Katy Perry has been exceedingly open and honest in the months leading up to the release of her new album.

"I'm a bit more nerdy than everybody things I am," she explained. "I'm a big goofball. The fantasy of Katheryn went into into Katy and made this bigger than life personality."

"That's the point of this whole this whole thing. if people can see I'm just like them they they can dream just as big."


The struggle of being both Katy and Katheryn is what inspired her to cut all her hair off -- "I didn't want to look like Katy Perry anymore," she said.

She also shared that she's struggled with alcoholism -- at this point in the video, someone could be heard urging her to stop the session.

But instead of stopping, she just got even more intimate.

Katy said that she's also contemplated suicide, adding that "I feel ashamed that I would have those thoughts, feel that low and that depressed."


She said that she even wrote a song about it -- "By the Grace of God" from her 2013 album, Prism.

"You can be right or you can be loved," she said. "I just want to be loved."

It was an extremely personal thing for her to share, and so it just makes sense that her fans have been losing their minds in support for her.

"I've gained so much respect for Katy Perry," one person tweeted. "Her therapy session and allowing the world to witness her... my heart breaks seeing her sadness."

A fan told her "Your therapy session touched my heart it was so deep! Know that your katycats love you for being Katheryn Hudson."

Ethiopia’s capital Addis Ababa has introduced a first for Africa, a smart parking system to solve the lack of parking space for the hundreds of thousands of cars in the city.

The system uses modern Chinese technology to park vehicles inside a steel structured building using an automated lift.

Many people are already excited to see a tangible solution for the growing parking space problem in Addis Ababa.

The project has cost the state about 52 million birr, or just about $2.2 million. Already, there is a plan to build more smart parking facilities across the capital Addis Ababa.
“The number of vehicles is increasing and so is demand for parking. On our master plan we have selected 60 places to constructed smart and concreted parking systems. There are several smart parking systems being built in Addis at the moment similar to what you have seen. A Swedish court have handed a Ghanaian player in Gävle, Sweden, a two year jail sentence for raping and assaulting his wife.

The Gävle District Court also disclosed that 22-year-old Kwame Bonsu, who plays for Gefle IF club, will be expelled from the Scandinavian country where he has lived since 2013.

His club Gefle on Friday also said Bonsu was dismissed from the team with immediate effect. According to court documents seen by The Local he will also have to pay 122,600 kronor ($14,000) in compensation to his wife, who is a Swedish national. He first met her in 2014 when he was playing in the southern Swedish city of Mjölby.

They married the following year. A few months after the wedding he signed a transfer to the town of Gävle, located about 300 kilometres away from Mjölby. Bonsu’s wife had wanted him to stay to continue his studies.

The victim said the rape and beatings took place in the couple’s apartment during an evening in November 2015 when he had refused to let her out. Bonsu repeatedly denied the charges, but testimony from his wife’s relatives led the court to believe the victim’s version of events. His lawyer has appealed the sentence.

What started with a compliment turned one young woman’s idea into a million dollar business.



When Kelechi Anyadiegwu started her online African clothing store Zuvaa with $500 two years ago, her idea was to share African-inspired designs with consumers around the world. Zuvaa is estimated to make $2 million in sales in 2016.
After receiving a compliment on her outfit, the tech savvy 24-year-old bought a domain name and started social media accounts.
“I didn’t really know what I was getting into, I just had a vision and I was excited about where that would take me,” New York-based Anyadiegwu told CNN in an interview.
“As a women of Nigerian descent, I grew up with African prints and fabrics. I loved wearing African inspired designs, and whenever I did wear these pieces, people wanted to know how they could also shop African inspired prints.”
Instead of just referring these curious customers on to the designers she knew, Anyadiegwu saw a business opportunity.
“I decided to use my skills in social media marketing and online community building, to create a platform that would provide more exposure for the talented African-inspired fashion designers I knew existed around the world,” she said.
Her success has already landed her on the Forbes 30 under 30 list.
Passion x expertise = a winning formula
While the path of a tech entrepreneur is not an easy one, Anyadiegwu’s education set her up for success.
After studying User Experience Design in the U.S., she combined her passion for representing Africa on the world stage, her keen eye for design and tech expertise.
“I’ve always been a techie. I’m very interested in how technology and design could be used to change lives.
“Zuvaa brought together everything I was ever interested in. My love for Africa, my interest in fashion and my skills in technology.”

The life of a young entrepreneur
Anyadiegwu has been very vocal about the fact that she did not want a traditional 9 to 5 job.
And she’s not alone, according to research by Bentley University, 77% of millennials say flexible work hours make them more productive.
“My days are a lot longer than 9-5!” says Anyadiegwu. “From when I wake up to when I go to sleep, I’m working on Zuvaa. If I’m not directly working on Zuvaa, I’m definitely thinking about it.”
Anyadiegwu predicts Zuvaa is on track to make $2 million in gross sales this year, she said having a clear vision is key.
“My biggest piece of advice is to trust your vision. Your vision for your life and company are really going to be what makes you stand out.
“No one is going to be able to see this vision, that’s what makes it so special, that what will set you apart from others, that’s what will make get every morning exciting to work and build your company.”

The name ‘Zuvaa’ comes from ‘Zuva’ which means sun or sunshine in the language of the Shona people from Zimbabwe. Anyadiegwu’s vision for the company is clear;
“We are building a movement of artisans, consumers and people around the world who want to know the stories behind their garments. Where they come from and who made them.”
“People are excited that their traditional prints are going global and it’s driven by people from their communities. Many are fascinated with the market that exists outside of Africa and how the global interest is trickling down to their local communities,” added the young entrepreneur.

Muhammed Ali Junior, the only biological son of late Muhammed Ali, has voiced out on the hardship he is being made to suffer. The 45-year-old man who is homeless has become needy.

Barely a year after his father’s death, things have gotten worse as the son of the legendary boxer has accused his family members of not giving him an equal share of his father’s 62m fortune.

The poor man revealed that he has only been given a pitiable sum of £2,000 in the last two months. Being homeless did not make things easy for him either as he presently sleeps on the floor at his friend’s place in Florida.

Ali Junior also stated that there was a meeting held in California. The meeting was graced by his seven sisters, adopted brother Asaad, and the will executor which happens to be 59-year-old Lonnie, the fourth wife of Muhammed Ali. Lonnie was married to the boxing legend for thirty years.

The poor man said he feels like he has been completely cut off. He does not have a bank account and this leaves them no option than to wire money to him. He stated sadly that his father would not have wanted that.

The only biological son of the legendary boxer said his father would have loved for him to be comfortable and sorted. He also revealed that he had been ostracized from the family and had little or no contact with his father when he was alive.

The 45-year-old man was married to Shaakira and has two daughters, Ameera and Skakera. Ali Junior says he is struggling to make ends meet by cleaning people’s yards and rendering menial services to them. His marriage reportedly got broken a month after his famous father died.

“I stayed with the marriage to see if things can work out, but I had 11 years of complete unhappiness. I love my daughters and I would do anything in the world to be with them. You can ask anybody that know me and they would tell you Muhammad is the kindest, sweetest man they have ever known.” This was his response when asked to talk about the marriage.

Ghana is set to have its second successive Chief Justice. Justice Sophia Akuffo was nominated by President Akufo-Addo to replace Georgina Theodora Wood, the first female leader of the country’s judicial arm of government.

Justice Wood retired on June 9, 2017 after serving for close to five decades in the judiciary – spending the last decade as Ghana’s Chief Justice.
