Martha Ankomah is her given name and stage name, she is one of the most sought after Ghanaian actress. Aside movie acting, the ravishing lady is also involved in modelling, film producing, movie directing, entrepreneur and philanthropist . She is also behind a philanthropic foundation. Martha Ankomah was born on 10th October, 1985 in Accra, Ghana. The Ghallywood actress is recently clocked thirty one years attended Adabraka Presbyterian Junior High School and Labone Senior High School in Accra, Ghana before she proceeded to the tertiary institution. Following the completion of her basic education, she proceeded to study in the college college at Jayee University College, where she successfully bagged a degree marketing.


While at Labone Senior High School, she joined the Theatre Programme for Schools & participated in a number of plays. She then began acting in stage dramas at Funworld & Kiddafest & In 2007 she auditioned for the Next Movie Stars in Ghana. During the next movie stars competition the judges saw her good acting skills, audibility, gesticulation, projection & mimicking.
