Early Life, Background And Education

Christopher Oghenebrorie is widely known as Chris Okotie, he was birthed to Francis Idje and Cecilia Okotie, in Ethiope-West, Delta State (then Bendel State). He is from a small christian family and loved singing from his childhood days and his passion for songs followed him to his adulthood. Chris Okotie's childhood ambition was to become a professional musician and while he was in secondary school at Edo College, Benin City, he belonged to the school's Music Club and usually entertained groups of people. He kept on doing music underground and never had any plans to promote or commercialize his talent until his first year at university, when his father died. According to the man of God, he listed jogging, martial arts and music as his hobbies but would tick all the boxes for music if he had to.
