Police have arrested Monday Nnime, a 21-year-old mechanic, for allegedly stabbing his brother in Lagos.

After the death of John Okoh (28), operatives from the Denton Police Division, Ebute meta apprehended him.

Nnime was arrested for allegedly stabbing the deceased in the neck with a broken bottle during a fight over N1,500 at their workplace along Sam Freeman Road.

Okoh had received N1,500 from a customer after he worked on his car. However, the suspect wanted an equal share of the sum.

Benjamin Hundeyin, a police spokesperson, confirmed that Okoh was taken to Ebute Meta Federal Medical Centre for treatment. However, the doctor on duty declared Okoh dead.
