Ifeanyi Ejiofor, the Lead Counsel of the outlawed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), says Nnamdi Kanu, detained leader of the proscribed separatist movement, “is deeply worried about the fate of other detainees, including those of different ethnic extractions who are mainly Hausas, Fulanis and others, presently languishing in custody”.

According to Ejiofor, Kanu has asked for “serious legal actions to ensure that those concerned regain their freedom”.
