Tukur Mamu (the negotiator of Kaduna train passengers abducted), has been brought to the attention of both the federal government as well as the Christian Association of Nigeria about a plan by terrorists to marry Azurfa Lois Johnson, 21 years old, who was a victim of Kaduna's train attack.

LIB reported that A 300-level student of Kaduna State University and her cousin Peace Aboi (28), were among the passengers kidnapped on March 28, 2022 by terrorists. Peace, along with eleven other hostages, were released later.

Mamu, Media Consultant to Sheikh Ahmad Gumi disclosed this on Friday, August 19, as he briefed newsmen about the four passengers released by the terrorists after spending over four months in captivity.

However, he appealed to the Federal Government and all other stakeholders for more efforts to release the 23 terrorists' victims whose medical conditions are pathetic and urgently require medical attention.

He stated that the CAN should not politicize or take the information with levity and that the relevant authorities should immediately engage the abductors in her (Lois') case before it is too late.

"This is to alert the federal government and especially the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) that I can confirm through credible information at my disposal that if urgent action is not taken to immediately secure the release of the youngest victim of the train attack, a 21-year-old Azurfa Lois John, the abductors as they have done in the case of Leah Sharibu are planning to marry her any moment from now. One of the top commanders is said to be in love with her," Mamu said.

"This important information should be treated with the urgency it deserves. Even though I know that releasing this information will not only unsettle her immediate family and loved ones but Nigerians as a whole, it is necessary to do so to avoid a repeat of Leah Sharibu’s case

"I advise CAN in particular not to politicise this issue or reduce it to mere press releases as I have seen in the past but to work closely with relevant authorities to engage the abductors on case as soon as possible before it is late

"I pray that in view of the uncertainties which are becoming alarming, the federal government will also act very fast to ensure the release of all the remaining victims," he added.

According to Mamu, one of the top commanders of the terrorists is said to be in love with Miss John and would like to marry her.

Oh, God!!!...Not again!!!... This was how Leah Sharibu's case ended till date without anything serious from the federal government. Does CAN have what it takes to rescue this girl? why should even CAN be brought into this? It's not the responsibility of CAN to ensure the security of ordinary citizens of this country. This is terrible. I pray God will help the family to secure the release of their precious daughter. This government has indeed failed us all.
