President Muhammadu Buhari said on Friday that the Nigerian Civil Service is not a dumping ground for job seekers, as the unemployment rate continues to rise.

At the state house in Abuja, the president issued the warning while receiving the Federation’s Head of Civil Service, Folashade Yemi-Esan, and the President of the Association of Senior Civil Servants of Nigeria, Innocent Bola-Audu.

According to Channels TV, the President stated that the civil service should be viewed as an ecosystem that must attract the best and brightest in order to solve the country’s socioeconomic problems.[img][/img]
