TOPIC: DELAY MEANS HE IS WORKING!
BASIC SCRIPTURE:
JOHN 11: 1-6; 17, 21
welcome! Isaiah 55: 8-9 reveals: "For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways," saith the Lord. "For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your Ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts." God is simply not operating with our earthly calendar. The Bible says a thousand years is like a day and a day is like a thousand years in His sight! So what we call delay is simply, God operating according to His divine calendar which is different from ours. "He makes all things beautiful in HIS OWN TIME," AND DON'T FORGET THAT THE WORD SAYS THERE IS A SEASON AND A TIME FOR EVERYTHING UNDER THE SUN (HEAVENS)! EVERYTHING INCLUDES YOUR TESTIMONY! And when HIS TIME does not tally with OUR TIME, we tend to say that He is slow, late and He delays. Whatever He allows, whether good or bad, positive or negative, is for your ultimate good AT LAST. Note: AT LAST! That means the delay may not make sense NOW but AT LAST, IN THE END, YOU WILL KNOW WHY! Some years ago, there was a young man who was travelling from Lagos to Ondo State of Nigeria. He was the first passenger to board the 504 Saloon-Wagon Car. Shortly before take-off from Lagos, the driver suddenly picked a quarrel with him, which forced him out of the vehicle. His programme to leave Lagos early was disrupted and he was angry. He had to board the next car. Shortly, after some kilometres, precisely at a city called Ijebu Ode, they encountered the wreckage of the car from which he was forced out. Everybody in the vehicle including the driver had died. The question is: "What actually forced that young man out of the car?" Child of God, when God delays, He is not sleeping; He is working! "All things work together for good, to them that love God." ALL THINGS- including this delay battle confronting you! And a songwriter says: " it's intentional." God is an intentional God and His intentions are pure and faultless! See our anchor scripture Vs 21: "Then said Martha unto Jesus, " Lord if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died." Martha was saying in essence, "Jesus, You are very, very late!" And that is how millions think today! But the Holy Ghost is saying to a user of today's devotional that the delay of God is meant for your dancing and evidence and it will turn out for your good. TOPIC: THIS SECOND HALF:
THE STATUS QUO MUST END!
BASIC SCRIPTURES:
1 CHRONICLES 4: 9-10;
2 KINGS 6: 1-12
Life will generally give to you what you desire or demand and not what you deserve! 2 Kings 6: 1-2 - today's second scripture, reveals thus: "And the sons of the prophets said unto Elisha, Behold now, the place where we dwell with the is too strait for us. Let us go, we pray thee, unto Jordan and take thence every man a beam, and let us make us a place there, where we may dwell. And he answered, 'Go ye." This is an example of people who were tired of the STATUS QUO; a people who were fed up with the once-upon-a-time kind of life. These were folks who were extremely tired with the way things were with them! These sons of the prophets said (paraphrased): "ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! THIS PLACE IS TOO STRAIT FOR US. THIS STATUS QUO MUST END." In other words, they were saying: "We Are More Than This! We Are Tired Of Being Confined, Caged And Incapacitated; We Desire and Demand The Enlargement Of Our Coast." They were angry with the STATUS QUO and by the grace of God, every STATUS QUO in your life, family and ministry will be demolished in this 14-day fasting programme! You are about to walk out of your COMFORT ZONE (stagnated progress) into your CRUISING ZONE (accelerated progress)! Your horizon is about to widen and your gaze will be broader! I see LIMITS and LIMITATIONS bombed into pieces!
Declare aloud now: "I AM MORE THAN THIS! I am moving from my COMFORT ZONE into my CRUISING ZONE! I must rise above the STATUS QUO! My ministry coast was enlarge! My vision and dream must enlarge! My marriage coast must enlarge! My business coast, my financial coast, my career coast, my academic coast, etc, must enlarge by fire!"
