According to the information gathered, Suspected Fulani herdsmen have killed an older farmer identified as Mustapha, alias Bebe Jeje, in his farm in Iseyin, Oyo State.

President-General of Agbekoyas Worldwide, Kamoru Okiki Aremu, said the herdsmen, who struck on the weekend, also wounded the farmer's son who was with him around the farm.

Speaking with newsmen, Aremu said the herdsmen also ruined crops in the farm.

Aremu urged the federal authorities and the state Governor, Abiola Ajimobi to immediately arrest and prosecute the offenders.

He said failure to arrest the offenders, family of the deceased would declare war on herdsmen around Oyo State.

Aremu said, "We are grieving. All these herdsmen went to Baba Jeje's farm, beheaded him and injured his son who was with him.

”We have had enough of these herdsmen; we are Agbekoyas and we don’t look for trouble. But for this that had just happened, we have sent all our members to comb the bushes for any herdsmen and deal decisively with them.

”If the federal government and Governor Ajimobi fail to bring these people to justice, we are going to handle them in our own way. We are not afraid of anybody.”
