A man, simply identified as Baba Jide, was shot dead in his car at Alaro neighborhood on Sango-Eleyele Road, Ibadan, Oyo State, with a wound on his head suspected to be a gunshot. It was gathered that the man has been found dead in his white Golf 2 automobile by passersby.

Some residents of the region alerted the police, who went into the scene, led by the Divisional Police Officer of Sango Division, SP Joyce Madaki, following the report of the incident, they heard a sound at approximately 12 midnight.
