Few days after 20 men were killed in an attack carried out by supposed herdsmen at Guma and Logo local government regions of the country between Monday and Tuesday this week, yet another assault completed in the wee hours of today, January 6th, by supposed herdsmen, whom has left no fewer than six men dead.

According to reports, the fresh attack took place at a settlement called Tse-Kimbir in Logo local government area of the state. A member of the community, Prince Cephas Hough, told the Nation that the herdsmen, armed with AK 47 rifles, stormed their homes very early in the morning.

He said the assailants went from house to house and robbed the inhabitants of their valuables before shooting six people dead.

Those killed in the attack were identified as Kwaghve Baaki, Terhemen Kwaghve, Ioryue Tsehemba,Zahemen Tsavkuleve, Ahemba Shaku and a visitor who reportedly came from Nongov, in Guma local government area of the state.
