A business man has been sentenced to 18 years in  jail and 10 strokes in Malaysia, for raping his 10-year-old daughter last September.
Sessions Court judge Ahmad Bazli Bahruddin imposed the sentence following the 50-year-old pleading guilty.

The judge ordered the sentence to start out of Oct 13, the date that he was detained.

The father of eight had been fortunate to have raped his daughter, then aged ten years and four weeks, in an unnumbered home in Beris Kubur Besar, Bachok, between 9.30pm and 11.15 pm on Sept 22.
