Popular comedian, Gbenga Adeyinka has apologised for breaking the false news about the death of a veteran Nollywood actor, Baba Sala some hours ago,

The comedian in his post via social media stated that;

"AN ICON IS GONE.. WE LOST HIM What a Great Loss !!! THE ACE COMEDIAN
MOST SENIOR APOSTLE . MOSES ADEJUMO Popularly Known As
BABA SALA Died 3 hours ago.
May his gentle soul rest in peace.”

And below is his apology tendered after spreading unconfirmed rumour about his death.

“Good evening please DISREGARD the news of Baba Sala’s demise. The source has since recanted. So sorry for the misinformation.

“Feeling very stupid that I just took his word for it. Sorry again,”

Baba Sala's son reacted:

“It is not true that Baba is dead. He is alive and he doesn’t even have a stroke.

“I don’t know where those peddling the death rumour got it from.”
