Men with gun supposed to be assassins have killed three persons at Ikot Oku Usung village in Ukanafun local government region of Akwa Ibom state, the incidents occurred early hours of Sunday morning.

According to the source who was present at the scene, the gunmen entered the compound of the Commissioner of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs Mr.Udoh Ekpenyong and shot three persons dead immediately which include the Commissioner's younger sister whose name is yet to be ascertained.

It was learnt that after the gunmen left the commissioner's house they proceeded to the home of former commissioner of education Mr.Aniekan Akpan but didn't find anyone in the compound and they left.

Meanwhile, police have begun "Stop and search", in the local government area to fish out the evil perpetrators.
