Suspected killer, Chinedu Akpunonu a.k.a Obrocho that attacked St Philip Catholic church, Ozubulu on August 6, 2017 where over 13 people were killed has been arraigned at the Ozubulu magistrate court in Anambra State.

Chinedu was arraigned alongside another suspect, Mr Onyebuchi Mbanefo popularly known as Dogy Dog (pictured in handcuffs)

Based on the report, the suspects were referred to Nnewi prison till 26th of February 2018 when they will appear again in the law court.

Both are prime suspects for the Ozubulu Church Massacre, approximately 13 persons were killed and 22 more injured when armed men stormed the church and opened fire on the members of the church while their target was Aloysius Ikegwuonu a.k.a Bishop.

Based on eyewitness, the armed men were in search of the target 'Bishop' from the church and as they did not locate him, they opened fire on innocent members such as Cyprian Ikegwuonu, the father of the target who also died in the attack.
