His real/given name is Gabriel Oche Amanyi but he is popularly known by his stage name Terry G, is a well known Nigerian musician and producer. Terry G is that Nigerian musician who is easily recognised by his unique , eccentric dress-sense, controversial lyrics and awkward identity. When he is not called by his codename Terry G then he is called “Akpako master” the only Nigerian musician that behave in an awkward manner.

Terry G is the most energetic Nigerian musician who has been given many names by different people, he was once described by The Punch as “one of the world’s weirdest singers”, Vanguard described him as a “Weird singer”, and Channels TV tagged him as the “Craziest musician in Nigeria”. The eccentric singer have released four albums since the beginning of his career and the last one he titled “Book of Ginger” was released in 2013.

Gabriel Oche Amanyi a.k.a Terry G was birthed in Lagos State on March 17, 1986, which coincidentally happened to be his mother’s birthday. Terry G is the first child from the family of four children born to Lagos based clergy parents.
